2011 Personal Trainer’s to Watch | Carol Michaels

Carol Michaels is a Cancer Exercise Specialist with more than 15 years of experience as a fitness trainer. Her certifications include ACE, ACSM, and The Cancer Exercise Training Institute. Carol is also a member of the Society of Public Health Education and received her degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Carol is the founder of Recovery Fitness, a program designed to help those recovering from cancer surgery and treatments.  This program has been implemented in hospitals and health centers.

All of Carol’s personal training programs focus on balance, posture, flexibility training, strength and functional exercise.

Finally, Carol is a speaker at business retreats, fundraisers and community events on fitness and health issues. She has appeared on regional television and was recently a presenter at Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Annual Conference in Philadelphia.
